CHILDREN OF EDEN opens next Wednesday at BHS!

This year’s Bedford High School musical is CHILDREN OF EDEN, by Stephen Schwartz (WICKED, PIPPIN, GODSPELL). The show runs March 15 through 18, with a Wednesday matinee at 4:30pm and Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evening shows at 7:00pm.

Tickets are $13 for adults and $11 for students and seniors in advance: If tickets are still available at the door each night, the price is $15.

CHILDREN OF EDEN explores the Biblical stories of Adam and Eve and Noah and the flood, with the connecting thread of Father, the all-knowing parent who must learn to accept the free will of his children. Although the musical uses a Judeo-Christian framework, it is a secular story of love, loss, reconciliation, and hope. You can read more about the show and see pictures of the cast in rehearsal, thanks to our friends at the Bedford Citizen:

The show runs approximately three hours, including one intermission, and is recommended for audiences from grade five and up. POMS will be selling concessions and well-wishes at every performance. Those of you who ordered bouquets and roses during our Floral Fundraiser can pick them up in the lobby before your requested performance(s).

If you’d like to help with concessions and well-wishes, sign up here!
