Sept 2026
Welcome to a new school year!
As I begin my second year as president of POMS, I’m pleased to welcome everyone to the 2026–2027 school year. I hope you had a wonderful summer and feel ready for another year of learning. POMS has already run the shack at two football games and Bedford Day, and we’re grateful for the community’s support.
Last year was another strong year for music and the performing arts across all four schools. Students brought their hard work and enthusiasm to two outstanding musicals and many concerts. In January, BHS once again hosted the multi-town Junior District auditions, reflecting Bedford’s continued commitment to supporting young musicians.
Bedford is fortunate to have an exceptional music faculty, with no turnover for the third year in a row. I believe this stability reflects, in part, the enthusiastic support shown throughout the year by the school district, parents, and students. POMS will continue its mission of supporting music students and teachers across Bedford Public Schools.
Finally, a heartfelt thank-you to everyone who has volunteered or donated to POMS. Your support is essential to our goal of giving every student who wants to participate the opportunity to be heard through music. Here’s to a rewarding and exciting 2026–2027 school year!
